EdgeShip & Kinetix Engine Privacy Policy

Kinetix Engine and its application, EdgeShip ("we", "our", or "the app"), provide high-performance tiered free shipping rate logic for Shopify merchants. We are committed to protecting merchant and customer privacy through a strict zero-storage architecture.
1. Data Collection & Processing
EdgeShip executes natively within Shopify checkout using Shopify Functions. Under this architecture:
- No Customer PII Stored: EdgeShip does not collect, log, store, or sell customer names, email addresses, physical shipping addresses, phone numbers, or payment credentials.
- In-Memory Evaluation: Address and cart evaluation occurs ephemerally during checkout execution within Shopify's sandboxed environment. No customer data persists after checkout evaluation completes.
2. Store Configuration Data
Merchant configuration (such as shipping spend thresholds, rate keywords, and exclusion toggles) is stored directly in native Shopify App Metafields ($app:edgeship). EdgeShip does not maintain an external database of merchant configuration.
3. Mandatory Shopify Privacy Webhooks
EdgeShip supports and acknowledges all mandatory Shopify privacy compliance webhooks:
customers/data_request: Acknowledged with HTTP 200 (no customer data retained).customers/redact: Acknowledged with HTTP 200 (no customer data retained to redact).shop/redact: Acknowledged with HTTP 200 upon app uninstallation.
4. Infrastructure & Edge Network
The merchant administration interface is hosted via an enterprise global edge network. No customer personal data is stored across edge nodes.
